The Dream Analyst was built with one core philosophy: your mind is entirely your own. The intelligence powering this app (Lumina) runs securely and completely offline within your device's sandbox. We do not use cloud processing or external servers to analyse your journal entries.
All dream logs, analyses, and interactive prompt chip interactions are stored strictly locally on your device. We utilise AES-256 database encryption to ensure data at rest is entirely secure. The application explicitly disables operating system cloud backups (allowBackup="false") and blocks OS-level background screen captures (FLAG_SECURE).
Because dream exploration can occasionally surface distress, Lumina includes a compassionate Redline Safeguard. To ensure this system operates reliably, the application contains an optional, privacy-first telemetry ping. If triggered, an anonymised signal is sent to our secure endpoint. No text, personal identifiers, device IDs, journal content, or contextual data are ever collected or transmitted.
Because all data remains exclusively on your hardware, you maintain total ownership and control over your records. You may permanently delete your active journal data at any time by clearing the application storage in your device settings, using the in-app reset controls, or uninstalling the application.
Please note: If you choose to utilise the manual Import/Export feature to back up your journal, those specific backup files are saved outside of the application's encrypted sandbox. You are solely responsible for the safe storage, management, and deletion of any external backup files you generate.
The Dream Analyst is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children.
Because no personal data leaves your device, we have nothing to sell, monetise, or share. Your data is never transmitted to advertisers, third-party analytics trackers, or external AI services.
